Sheepdog Theatre is offering a rare opportunity to develop your acting skills alongside the run of Art.
The Art of Performance Preparation is a focused, three-hour intensive for professional actors.
Working with a scene from Art, we move step by step through script analysis, blocking, and the shift from rehearsal thinking to performance readiness.
This is not a general acting class. The work is practical, specific, and grounded in real production conditions.
The workshop takes place on non-performance days at Studio Actre, the theatre where Art is being performed. You’ll work on the same stage with the same set and audience proximity as the production itself.
Numbers are capped at three actors per session to allow for detailed, individual work. Everyone is on their feet. Everyone receives direct feedback.
